Robert is a retired Professor and Chair of English at Wayne State University, as well as Professor and Chair of Film Studies at the University of St Andrews.
Robert joined the Board in 2021. He has had a long but indirect relationship with Myrtlewood for many years and has long admired the creativity and commitment of the Myrtlewood Board.

Mary is Directing Marketing Executive (SVP, EVP CRM Marketing of various automotive agencies including BBDO Detroit, Team Detroit, Campbell-Ewald, MRM Detroit).
Mary has been with Myrtlewood Arts Association since it’s inception in 2007.

Myrtlewood’s talented, creative and committed board includes industry leaders from all walks of life. But among them there is a common thread. The arts have played a pivotal role in their lives, and they continue to give back with their time and energy.

Lori is a teacher with many titles: Teacher Consultant, Special Education Teacher, Auditorium Director.
Lori has been involved with Myrtlewood since its creation, and has been on the board for 6 years.

Jessie is the co-founder of Arts Academy in the Woods and Myrtlewood. She provides energy, thought and work needed to support young people pursuing the arts, and those working with them. She loves offering the opportunity to engage in artistic endeavors to anyone who is interested, regardless of their expertise because arts education can open doors to personal satisfaction and expression.

Tova is a business attorney with SK Law Partner of Detroit, a Southfield law firm, who represents several non-profits.
She is Myrtlewood’s resident agent and has been a board member since its inception.
